TWO WEEKS OF BROADWAY 

At Saint Joseph Academy 
(on Cleveland's West  Side) 

For girls entering 6th - 8th  grade

ONLY 6 SLOTS  AVAILABLE IN THE MORNING!  18 IN THE AFTERNOON! 
"TWO WEEKS OF BROADWAY" is not a new summer  camp!  Over 300 campers have 
enjoyed  this camp in its six-year existence, and nearly all of them have 
returned each  summer they are eligible.  It is a  four-hours-per-day, two-week camp 
that will introduce students to the wonderful  world of Broadway Musicals.  
Students will have the opportunity to perform solos and group numbers  
throughout the camp, with a final performance for family and friends on the  final day. 
 The emphasis will be on  singing and dancing (and making many new friends!), 
highlighting each girl's  individual strengths and talents in a Broadway 
style  revue. 
This camp is directed by local Equity actor  Patrick Janson ("Archibald 
Craven" in The Secret Garden last summer at  Cain  Park) who is also the Chair  of 
the Performing Arts Department at Saint Joe's.  A professional Equity actor 
for 12  years, he has been extremely fortunate to work with many great minds in 
the  theatre industry in New York, Chicago and Cleveland, including composers 
Cy  Coleman and Stephen Schwartz, conductors Jack Lee and Gordon Harrell, and  
directors Michael Blakemore, Stuart Ross, Guy Stroman and Jim Corti (all of 
whom  have created Broadway musicals).  He also has years of experience working 
 with this age group! 
Cost of the camp is $200 and includes a video of  the final performance and a
