the Guitar!" has also been called "Lord of the Strings!" (Star Phoenix,

Salisbury of the Cleveland Plain Dealer said of his performance last
summer at Cain Park, that "Pavlo heated up the Evans Amphitheatre with
warm Mediterranean sounds," and that "Their sense of fun was infectious,

Pavlo is a Canadian born Greek composer, musician, singer, guitarist and
recording artist. He composes in a style best described as
"Mediterranean music," combining influences of Flamenco, Latin,
Classical and Mediterranean guitar mixed together with the Greek
Bouzouki. To date he has released six albums, one of which was
nominated for the "Best Instrumental Album of the Year" at the 2000 Juno
Awards in Canada. In 2004, he won the category for "World Artist of the
Year" at the Canadian Independent Music Awards. Two of his records have
received Gold certifications in Canada by the Canadian Recording
Industry Association. He has sold over 500,000 albums worldwide. =20
Pavlo has written music that was included on two episodes of the Chris
Isaak Show, a movie called "Marine Life" starring Cybil Shepherd, CTV's
"Eleventh Hour" and L.A.'s "The L Word" to name a few. His music has
also been featured on over a dozen cd compilations around the world.
Pavlo and his band perform over 150 concerts a year.
