Garbage to Glory is a collaborative effort of Arts In Stark, The Greater
Stark Community Arts Network and The City of Canton to promote having =
more
public art in Downtown Canton.  Eight artists will be commissioned to
transform cement garbage containers into functional works of art.  This =
is a
unique and exciting opportunity for local artists to get their hands =
"dirty"
on a public art project that everyone in Stark County will be able to =
enjoy.

Proposals are welcomed from Stark County artists.  The artists who =
submit
the top eight (8) proposals will each be awarded $500.00 upon completion =
of
his/her project and will be given a budget for supplies and preparation =
of
the project.  Artists will be asked to maintain their projects for one =
(1)
year.
