  ABOUT DANGEROUS OBSESSION
John Barrett appears unexpectedly at the conservatory door of the well-appointed home of Sally and Mark Driscoll in the British Home Counties. In search of someone to blame for his wife's accident, he holds them hostage for two hours, in the process stripping away the conflicting facets of the Driscolls' lives, leaving shattered faith, broken trust and a marriage in tatters. NJ Crisp's powerful suspense has played through the UK and on both North American coasts.

  CHARACTERS:
Sally Driscoll 25-35 British, upper class. Must be comfortable appearing in swimsuit for first several moments of the play. Intelligent and straightforward in manner, Sally appears to be able to command any group she finds herself in.

Mark Driscoll – 25 –35 Sally’s husband. British, successful businessman. At home both in the boardroom and at the seaside, Mark appears to be happy, successful, and comfortable with himself.

John Barrett – 25-35 – British, non-descript in appearance, John would not be noticed in a crowd. Nevertheless, there is an undercurrent of danger in his unassuming manner.
