What are you doing on New Year's Eve? It's time to start thinking about
First Night Akron.

As First Night enters its second decade, we challenge you to expand your
creativity. We're making lots of improvements on our end, but we NEED YOU to
make this year great! Consider how your performance/visual art
installation/interactive art activity can be presented in a way that will
WOW the community on Dec. 31.

Visit www.firstnightakron.org to download the Call for Artist brochure. Take
a minute to read it over, fill it out and submit it along with your
proposal.

Please consider submitting early. The absolute deadline for proposals is
August 1, 2006. Feel free to forward this email to a creative friend! We're
looking for outstanding, fresh ideas. The sky is the limit this year....

If you have any questions, or would simply like to talk over an
idea...please call me!! I'm happy to discuss your ideas and work with you to
achieve them!
