The Cleveland Shakespeare Festival is seeking two stage management interns
to serve as Assistant Stage Managers for their summer season.

This is an excellent opportunity for high school students or graduates
interested in entering the stage management profession to gain experience
while working in a professional environment under the guidance of a
professional stage manager, however anyone can apply.

Rehearsals have already begun, so interns will begin working ASAP. These
internships are not paid positions, however rehearsals and performances are
evenings and weekends, so you can keep your regular job and gain theatre
experience at the same time! Rehearsal schedules can be negotiated with the
individual stage manager, but tech week and all performances are mandatory.
Rehearsals are at the Cleveland Playhouse; performances are at Lincoln Park
in Tremont, Shaker Heights Colonnade, Tri-C's Western Campus, and the Fine
Arts Association in Willoughby. Interns must be able to provide their own
transportation.

King Lear is in tech July 10-13 and has performances July 14-16 (performance
on the 16th is at the Ingenuity Festival), 27, & 29, August 4, 6, 10, & 12.
Sweet Love Adieu is in tech July 17-20 and has performances July 21-23, 28 &
30, August 3, 5, 11, & 13.

If you are interested, please send an email (to the address listed below)
with your name, email address, and phone number. Please also list any
previous experience that may be relevant and which show you would like to
work on (if you have a preference).

If you have any questions, please address them to the email address listed
below.
