Cleveland Public Theatre is proud to present Mudfire, composed and performed
by The Carpetbag Brigade Physical Theatre Company of San Francisco.
Saturday, June 24

Mudfire is an acrobatic stilt drama invoking our ancient relationship with
the power and passion of fire. Mudfire's multi-dimensional dramatic images
recall different elemental stories from before the beginning of time: the
dances of fire and rain, the moon in the clouds, a boy and a beast racing
against a raging inferno and the rebirth of the forest.
The Carpetbag Brigade is a touring ensemble based in the San Francisco Bay
area. The company's work transcends genre, and is distinctive for a
dreamlike, surreal and poetic evocation of environmental themes and imagery.
By mixing the social mission of theater with high quality performance, The
Carpetbag Brigade brings cutting edge, original work to audiences of all
ages, backgrounds, and locales.
Mudfire will also be presented on Wednesday, June 21 at Fairview Park in
Ohio City in conjunction with ParkWorks.
