The Globe in a Glass Offers a Taste of National and International Wine
and Cheese at Idea Center

WHAT:              The Globe in a Glass a midsummer wine and cheese
tasting

WHEN:              Saturday, July 15 from 7 pm to 10 pm

WHERE:            WVIZ/PBS Idea Center, located on 1375 Euclid Avenue,
with adjacent parking in the Playhouse Square parking garage.

BACKGROUND:

>From the same organizations that deliver the acclaimed World Series of
Wine, comes a worldly wine and cheese tasting event, The Globe in a
Glass.=20

Through The Globe in a Glass you'll take a virtual world's tour as you
travel to various wine-producing regions, each one offering a variety of
wines from a specific geographic area event. The tasting will feature
samples of 200 wines from 27 regions as well as dozens of assorted
international and domestic cheeses. Guests of The Globe in a Glass will
also have the opportunity to tour the Idea Center, the exciting new home
of WVIZ/PBS and 90.3 WPCN.=20

In addition, experts will be on hand to offer advice and answer
questions about wine and food pairings, grape varietals, growing
regions, vintages and more.=20

Tickets are available for $50 per person with all proceeds benefiting
