The Players Guild Theatre announces auditions for the 75th anniversary
season opener

Jekyll & Hyde

Sunday, July 16 at 6:00pm
Monday, July 17 at 7:00pm

Requirements:  
32 bars of a musical theatre song in similar style to the show. 
Please bring sheet music in the appropriate key. 
An accompanist will be provided.

There will also be a "movement/dance" audition. 
Please wear comfortable shoes and clothes

A headshot is appreciated, but not necessary.

Auditions are held at the Players Guild at

Canton, OH 44702

Callbacks will be Tuesday at 7:00 PM with reading from the script and
singing from the score. 

First read through will be
Thursday, July 20 at 7:00pm

Jekyll and Hyde runs September 8-24 on the Mainstage with performances on
Fridays & Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sundays at 2:30pm

Please bring a list of all conflicts! 
More than 4 conflicts will lower your chances of being cast.

Rehearsals will be Monday through Thursday at 7:00pm

And Sundays at 6:00pm

The Story
An evocative tale of the epic battle between good and evil, this show is
based on Robert Louis Stevenson's classic story about a brilliant doctor
whose experiments with human personality create a murderous counterpart.
Convinced the cure for his father's mental illness lies in the separation of
Man's evil nature from his good, Dr. Henry unwittingly unleashes his own
dark side, wreaking havoc in the streets of late 19th century London as the
savage, maniacal Edward Hyde.
