*CVLT's "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change" receives seven awards 
at regional OCTA awards*

Chagrin Valley Little Theatre's /I Love You, You're Perfect, Now 
Change/, which ran during March/April of 2006 at the Chagrin Falls based 
theatre, received multiple honors at this weekend's Ohio Community 
Theatre Association 'OCTA Fest' held in Hudson, OH.  OCTA is a service 
organization for more than 100 community theatres in Ohio and adjacent 
areas of bordering states. Since its formation in 1953, it has grown to 
be one of the largest and most successful organizations of its kind. 
With its funding from the Ohio Arts Council, donations, dues and 
proceeds from its many self supporting activities, OCTA provides a 
growing list of services to its member theatres.

Competing against other theatres in the Northeast Ohio region, CVLT's 
musical picked up a total of seven awards.  Excellence in Acting/Vocal 
Performance awards were given to the show's four performers, David 
Kammerman, Tonya Duus, Andrew Rothman and Pamela LaForce.  The cast also 
received an Excellence award for Ensemble performance.  Director Don 
Edelman received an Excellence in Directing award, and musical director 
Chérie Reneé Roe received an Excellence in Musical Direction award.

The cast and crew of /I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change/ will be 
one of two groups representing the Northeast Ohio Region at the Ohio 
Community Theatre Association's state-level awards in Worthington, OH 
during the first weekend of September.
