LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS ROCKS ON TO CASSIDY STAGE

LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS  rocks  the Cassidy Theatre stage July 14th through =
the 30th with one hungry plant, one nerdy hero, one gorgeous girl and one d=
emented dentist. =20

Featuring music by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman of Disney=E2=80=99s "The L=
ittle Mermaid" and "Beauty and the Beast" fame, LITTLE SHOP is based on the=
 popular film by Roger Corman. The high energy musical score includes =E2=
=80=9960=E2=80=99s rock n=E2=80=99 roll, doo-wop and early Motown.=20

=E2=80=9CIf you saw our production of Beehive =E2=80=93 then you=E2=80=99ll=
 be happy to know that four of the =E2=80=9CLadies of the Hive=E2=80=9D are=
 returning for LITTLE SHOP,=E2=80=9D says Managing Director Chris Hnat.  =
=E2=80=9CAyeshah Douglas, Caron Wykle and Tonya Broach are back playing the=
 =E2=80=98doo-wop=E2=80=99 girls and Laurel Held-Posey returns as =E2=80=98=
Audrey=E2=80=99. Also returning to our stage as =E2=80=98Orin=E2=80=99, the=
 wacky dentist, is Kevin Joseph Kelly, who has performed and directed exten=
sively throughout the Cleveland area and, as the plant, Geoffrey Short who =
was last seen as our =E2=80=98Old Deuteronomy=E2=80=99 in CATS.=E2=80=9D

Rounding out the high-energy cast are well-known area performers Joe Kender=
es as =E2=80=9CSeymour=E2=80=9D, Joseph Hnat as =E2=80=9CMushnik=E2=80=9D a=
nd Aaron Kastanis as the =E2=80=9Cmanipulator=E2=80=9D of the man-eating pl=
ant.=20


LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, directed by popular area director/entertainer Trini=
dad Snider, with musical direction by Brad Wyner and choreography by Kimber=
ly Bush tells the story of unassuming  floral assistant Seymour Krelborn, w=
ho purchases a unique plant, unaware that it is really a creature from oute=
r space intent on world domination.=20

You don=E2=80=99t have to go downtown to enjoy outstanding theatre in North=
east Ohio! LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS opens July 14th and runs through July 30t=
h.  Show times are Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 3:00 p=
.m.  Tickets are $17 for adults and $14 for students and senior citizens. E=
arly reservations are strongly suggested and tickets are going fast.  Ticke=
