Four people are drinking coffee and a turkey is in the oven. The four seem =
lost in time and place-- even as they act out strange roles while still doi=
ng ordinary things. It is at the same time a familiar yet frightening world=
, inhabited by seemingly familiar yet strange people. Or is it just theatr=
e? Directed by NWPL company member Chris Buck, Action becomes an odd piece=
of chamber music displaying the deeply detailed physical style of NWPL=92s=
actors. Action features NWPL co-artistic director Jairo Cuesta and compan=
y members Debora Totti, Justin Hale, and Jamie G. Hale. Lighting design by=
 Chris Hariasz.

NWPL recently returned from France and Italy where the company conducted wo=
rkshops for actors and teachers in Performance Ecology. A workshop will be=
conducted in Akron July 24-30. For information on the company=92s perform=
ances, educational programs, and workshops call 330-867-3299 or visit the w=
ebsite at www.nwplab.org
