“Burnin’ up the Stage” - Datz’DNation: Phunk Dance Company, to Perform Saturday and Sunday at Kidsfest and Sunday at the Puerto Rican Festival
CLEVELAND, OHIO -- Datz’DNation: Phunk Dance Company is scheduled to perform at 1:30pm on the Stars of the Future Stage at Tops Kidsfest on Saturday, July 22, 2006 and at 11:30am on Sunday, July 23, 2006 at the Tower City Amphitheatre. They perform at 6pm at the Puerto Rican Festival in the Municipal Lot.
This highly energized group of dancers ages 13-32 show their hip hop and jazz funk video style moves created by professional choreographer, Jay’J. Jay’J has extensive training and performance experience including choreographing and dancing for the opening acts of Usher, B2K, Britney Spears, Brandy, NSync, and the BackStreet Boys to name a few. This multicultural, co-ed group pumps up the crowd with a show that combines Hip Hop, R & B, Rap, & Pop Music.
Already a hit in Ohio, Datz’DNation: Phunk Dance Company has performed at Playhouse Square, IX Center, Pepsi Street Motion Tour, Hot Import Nights, Inguenity 2006, opening act and back-up dancing for record labels, opening act for Paul Wall, taped for BET, and recently invited to perform on ESPN in Los Angeles.
The unbeatable combination of these talented dancers and amazing choreography are a huge crowd pleaser and not to be missed! Their high energy, 30 minute show takes you on a journey through the decades from the beginning of hip hop to present using dance as a vehicle to get you to your destination. They are set to “burn up the stage” at Kidsfest at 1:30pm on Saturday and 11:30am on Sunday at the Tower City Amphitheater at the Belkin Production/Live Nation Stars of Tomorrow Stage and at 6pm at the Puerto Rican Festival.
