Grant me the serenity to accept the things i cannot change,
Courage to change the things i can,
And wisdom to know the difference,
Living one day at a time,
Enjoying one moment at a time,
Accepting hardship as the pathway to peace.

Subject: [NEohioPAL]female singer/dancer needed for 1960's tribute band - PAID

I am in a British Invasion tribute band as a go-go dancer and featured
singer. I dance for some of the tunes and sing about 4 songs.

I am also in two other musical groups and I need a backup girl for when I
can't make the tribute jobs. It's a really fun, laid-back gig. I've
appeared with the band everywhere from Akron to Huron, Sandusky, and
Beachwood over the past year, usually at outdoor festivals, sometimes
corporate and private gigs.

If you are interested and feel comfortable dancing 60's moves only (the
Pony, the Twist, the Monkey, the Hitchhiker, the Swim, the Watusi, etc), and
can sing any of the following, let me know: "These Boots Were Made For
Walkin," "Be My Baby," "To Sir With Love," "I Only Want To Be With You." You
don't have to sing them all but one or two will be a plus. I also sing
*harmony* on The Kinks' "All Day and All of The Night" and "You Really Got
Me" that you might learn if you have time. During these songs the lead
singer is impersonating Austin Powers...the kids love it and sometimes will
ask for your autograph!

The dance moves are up to you, they are not choreographed, you just need to
know enough 60s dances to get through 3 or 4 numbers at a time in each set.
You also need to look good or at least be comfortable in a 60s A-line dress
and white go-go boots (the band will either buy those for you or help you
purchase them).

If interested contact me with bio or resume and photo. Thanks!

Leigh
