Cleveland Public Theatre is seeking a Production Manager/Technical Director.

CPT produces and presents new, alternative, and/or socially conscious works,
and runs educational programs for low income youth and adults in recovery. 

CPT is seeking a PM/TD that is interested in being a part of a team that is
working collaboratively to grow the organization and have an impact on the
community.

CPT's season typically includes the production of 8-10 plays and three
performance series in two flexible theatres: the 100-150 seat James Levin
Theatre and the 100-250 seat Gordon Square. The season runs from September
through June.

PM/TD position is a year round, salaried staff position. Salary range is
26,000-30,000 based on experience and capacity. 

Summary of Position:  The PM/TD is responsible for the scenic, lighting and
sound needs for CPT productions and presented artists. The PM/TD has the
following responsibilities:

*	Works with designers to execute set designs, lighting plots and
sound installations for produced works. 
*	Coordinates technical matters for all presented works and rental
events. 
*	Recruits, trains, and supervises production and run crews. 
*	Executes administrative responsibilities: production budgets, supply
and equipment inventory and crew time sheets. 
*	Works with Executive Artistic Director to strategically develop the
production department. 
*	Based on qualifications, PM/TD may have the opportunity function as
designer for certain shows. 

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a history of success in
technical theatre. S/he will be highly organized, conscientious, and detail
oriented. S/he will have experience at successfully leading work crews. S/he
will also be self motivated and comfortable working on projects alone. The
PM/TD must be able to set realistic goals, budgets, and timelines, and
perform according to them. Must have a valid driver's license, car, and
clean driving record.
