Cleveland Public Theatre is seeking five Student
Representatives/Marketing Interns to work with the Marketing Specialist
and the Director of Communications in coordinating the on-campus
marketing aspects of the Not-Quite Theatre Series (NQTS).  Over a
five-week period this fall, the NQTS will present an array of premiere
performances including spoken word, performance art, theatre, dance,
and music in a unique curatorial setting.  The NQTS will be
marketed primarily to students at colleges and universities in the
region.  <br>
<br>
The Student Reps will work with the Marketing Specialist and Director of =
Communications and will be responsible for:<br>
<br>
- Helping promote the NQTS on-campus<br>
- Assisting in the organization of and working at on-campus events =
including mini-performances by NQTS artists<br>
- Distribution of print materials<br>
- Working with the Marketing Specialist to implement all aspects of the =
NQTS marketing plan<br>
- Raising campus awareness about the series by working with campus =
publications, student unions, etc.<br>
- Utilizing college-oriented websites such as Facebook.com and MySpace.com =
to promote the NQTS through blogs, bulletins, etc.<br>
- Creating buzz and using guerilla marketing techniques to draw campus =
attention for the Series<br>

These are paid, part-time positions (approximately 5-10 hours/week)
beginning upon hire and running through November 30, 2006.  This
position is open to full or part-time college students, and would be
ideal for an individual with an interest or experience in marketing,
the arts, or arts administration.  Candidates must be available to
attend evening events during the week, especially leading up to and
during the NQTS.<br>
