Ensemble Theatre

performing at The Brooks Theatre  of the Cleveland Play House
will hold auditions, Wednesday, August 9 from 2pm until 7pm
for Seamus Heaney's

BURIAL AT THEBES

a new translation of Sophocle's ANTIGONE
Directed by Lucia Colombi

Auditions will be held in room 209 of the May Lee Building, 2490 Lee Blvd., Corner of Mayfield Rd. Please come prepared with a 3 minute
monologue from a classical play, not necessarily from the Greek classics, You may be asked to read selected lines from the script.
Seeking equity and non-equity actors, Equity will be seen first
The following roles are open

Antigone, young woman age 25 -35
Ismene, sister of Antigone young woman age 20 -30
Chorus- 2 older men 45 +
Creon, King of Thebes, male 40-55
Guards, 2 men age 25-35
Haemon, brother of Antigone male age 30-35
Tiresais, blind sage male 40 - 50+
Tiresais young, boy or girl no older than 19
Messengers of the Palace, 2 men age 25-35
Eurdice, Wife of Creon, woman age 35-40

CALL BACKS ARE SCHEDULED FOR Saturday AUGUST 12 at 2pm
Same location. 

Because the building is undergoing renovation please park in the underground garage west of Lee Rd on Mayfield Rd, Or park in the Starbucks lot across the street
