Beck Center will be seeking both a Full-time Technical  Director and an 
interim TD/Full-Charge Carpenter.

In the next week or so a national search will  begin for a Full-time 
Technical Director. The search is anticipated to take 6 to  8 weeks to complete. Local 
applications will, of course, also be accepted for  this position.

In the meantime, Beck will be hiring an individual who  can act as interim TD 
until the position is filled. It is possible the  interim may be also 
considered for the Full-time position.

Interim Position  Requirements
Must be a very strong carpenter with additional skills  in either areas of 
rigging, electrics and some scene painting. This person will  assist our staff 
in the execution of our 1st two productions; "Porgy and Bess"  and "Hamlet." 
This position is offered at between $300 and $400/week, depending  upon 
experience. It is expected that this position will be available as early as  August 
14th, and will last until at least September 30th---perhaps  longer, depending 
upon the search.

Full-time Criteria
This will be posted to the list  shortly.
