The newly named Canal Fulton Players at the UMC Family Theatre are  
announcing that there will be open auditions for Neil Simon's The Odd  Couple on August 
29, 2006, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Fellowship Hall,  United Methodist 
Church in Canal Fulton, 363 Cherry Street SE, Canal Fulton,  Ohio.  The theatre 
which is open to all persons just completed its first  season with the original 
romantic comedy, Rommel and Patton, a love  story, by David Van Gaasbeek.  
There is no precasting for The Odd  Couple which has a cast of six men and 2 
women.  The dates for  performance are - October 20-22 and October 27-29.  
Rehearsals will start  September 5 and will be Monday through Thursday 7:00-9:30 pm.  
All persons  wishing to audition should be prepared to read from the script.
