The Beck Center for the Arts, Northeastern Ohio's arts resource, is =
seeking a qualified instructor for their Little Folks Theater class. =20

Class Description: (for children ages 4 - 6) This class introduces our =
youngest students to the magic of theater.  Children engage in lively =
classroom activities involving creative dramatics, movement, music, =
listening skills, and creative art.  Stresses positive self-development =
and interaction. Meets Saturday Mornings 9/9 - 12/16

Employment Description:  Using the resources of the Beck Center, the =
instructor will take the students through a 14-week exploration of the =
world of theater, which will culminate in a brief performance for =
parents.  This exploration will include introductions to the theater =
spaces, costumes, make-up, and craft activities, such as mask and puppet =
making, along with group activities that physically connect the children =
to creation in relation to theatrical performance.

Qualifications:  We are looking for an individual with training and =
experience in early childhood education.  This individual should have =
knowledge of the world of theater, dance, music and the visual arts.  =
Class size ranges from 8 - 12 students, potential candidate should be in =
condition to engage and interact with children in all physical =
activities.  Background check will be required.

Position Status:  Part-time hourly employee.  Hourly rate is =
commensurate with experience and credentials.
