Job Description

-The Special Events Stage Manager/Technician (ESM) shall provide
management and technical services to clients presenting programs in the
performance spaces of the Metropolitan Campus.

-The ESM will often be the sole College representative at events that
take place in the Main Stage, Studio Theatre, and Auditorium.
=20
-The ESM shall have a wide variety of production experience that
includes Dance, Drama, Concerts, Fashion shows, Musical Theatre,
Recitals and Talent shows as well as lectures, hearings, and
commencements.

-The ESM shall insure that relevant College policies and procedures are
adhered to and that College property is properly and safely used.
=20
-The ESM shall be responsible for the order, condition, and lock up of
the facilities and all associated equipment.
=20
-Management experience and skills required include:
-Leadership;
-Interpersonal communication;
-Stage management;
-Personnel supervision and;
-Participation in co-operative ventures.

-Technical experience and skills required include:
-Stage lighting;
-Theatre sound (re-enforcement, recording, fold back and
play back);
-Theatre rigging;
-Use of general stage equipment;
-Inter communications systems and;=20
-Familiarity with video and slide projection systems.

The ESM reports to the Technical Director, Theatre Arts.
