THE OHIO CLOWN COLLEGE
Announces its 18th year.
The college, unique in the State of Ohio, is one of a handful of =
professional training centers for clowns in the country. The college =
prepares students, 16 years of age and older to become entry level =
professional clowns. The theater based course of instruction is 30 =
weeks from September - April.
Classes are Monday evenings 6:00-8:00 PM at Hudson High School and on =
selected Saturdays at The Funny Stop Comedy Club, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. =
Enrollment for the Class of 2007 closes September 11th.

Best of Broadway - A Musical Revue Benefit - Opens at Cassidy Theatre
Come see the triumphant return of Best of Broadway, a musical revue of Broadway showstoppers from yesterday and today. The rafters will rock with applause and more than a few tears will be brushed away. Best of Broadway, produced and directed by Heidi (J.W.) Boone, showcases the talents of area professionals and includes some of the best community performers in North East Ohio. Best of Broadway opens Thursday, August 24th and runs through Sunday, August 27th.
The production stars: R. Brooke Baker, Jim Becker, Sarah Biondo, Leona Boone, Cathie Brenkus, Carol Broquet, Marthan Brown, Gina Buck, Patrick Clement, Bob Cochrane, Clint Condon, Nicole DeAnna, Dylan Dwyer, Megan Grimes, Ryan Haddad, Desiree Johnson, Justin Knapp, Mark Knapp, George Morgan, Martin Moskow, Sheila Moskow, Frank Mularo, John Nolan, Monica Olejko, Don Pedley, Lou Petrucci, Mary Prucha, Jennifer Ryan, Geoffrey Short, Missy Sorohan, Mimi Stefaniuk, Nancy Tabar, Emily Tabar and Bob Zombar.
Bob Day is the Musical Director and Accompanist. Jim Becker is the choreographer for the production which benefits the Cassidy Youth Theatre program.
Performance times are Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8:00p.m. and Sunday at 3:00p.m. All seats are $15.00. Cassidy Theatre is located in the Greenbrier Commons, 6200 Pearl Road, Parma Heights. THE SLIPPER AND THE ROSE
Auditions for Cassidy Theatre

Auditions for the National Premiere of the musical The Slipper and the Rose=
=E2=80=93 The Story of Cinderella will be held on Sunday, August 27th, Mon=
day and August 28th. Auditions will be held at Cuyahoga Community College =
=E2=80=93 Western Campus in Room B125. The show will be produced at the C=
assidy Theatre, 6200 Pearl Road, Parma Heights.
Based on the 1976 Oscar-nominated movie starring Richard Chamberlain, The S=
lipper and the Rose features a score by Richard and Robert Sherman who wrot=
e the score for Disney=E2=80=99s Mary Poppins and The Jungle Book. The Sli=
pper and the Rose follows the traditional story line =E2=80=93 Cinderella r=
ides in a magical pumpkin to the ball, enchants and prince, flees at midnig=
ht leaving her slipper behind, he finds her and =E2=80=93 that=E2=80=99s wh=
en the story takes an unexpected twist =E2=80=93 the king prefers to choose=
the prince=E2=80=99s wife, one of the proper social standing who can help =
cement a strong political alliance! (Of course, love wins out in the end!)
