Abby Hunter would like to share some information about her new book The Exchange which is currently available through amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com and will be available in bookstores on September 5, 2006.
   
  Ashley Balwin and Erik Halstein meet under some unusual circumstances.  Ashley is a young aspiring surgeon, that has always done things by the book.  She is afraid of love and is recovering from a life-altering experience.  Erik Halstein is a young Olympic hopeful that is trying his best to focus on his goals.  From the very moment their eyes meet, Ashley feels a connection to him deep within her soul.  Heartbroken and scared of what the future holds for her, she struggles to deal with her emotions towards him.  Together, they learn to overcome the fact that time, distance, and vulnerabilities from their pasts are trying to split them apart.  As they strive to achieve their individual goals, they learn important lessons about learning to love, knowing when to let go, and developing a friendship based on love, loyalty, and trust.

  Ashley stood up to get something to drink when she suddenly noticed Erik Halstein walking up the grass to the backyard.  There was a slight hill leading to the backyard and she noticed how tall he was walking up it.  He was holding his girlfriend's hand.  He was gorgeous.  He was tall, had blonde hair, and the most beautiful eyes Ashley had ever seen on a guy.  
  As he got closer he looked up and Ashley saw the biggest eyes she had ever looked into.  They were honest eyes and tehy led him right to the core of her soul.  It was like he was looking right through her and there was a connection with him taht she had never experienced in her life.
   
  The story continues to develop and provide a heart-warming example of the power of love, friendship, and self growth.
