Gateway Band to play free concert at CD Release Event!

Gateway Band is a group of musicians committed to ministry through the creative, spiritual power of contemporary music. We are part of an age-old tradition of music that seeks to inspire social change, comfort and stir the hearts of people. We celebrate this transformative power in our fellowship together, and seek to spread the message of peace as far as our voices will carry it.
Gateway Band has a unique sound influenced by the spirituals and gospel music  of the African-American church, as well as progressive jazz and world music.
Gateway Band plays a weekly jazz mass at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Cleveland at 9:00 a.m.on Sundays. At Trinity, the band has received overwhelming support, and encouragement to experiment with the possibilities of jazz in the context of worship.
