(Akron, Ohio, September 6, 2006, FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE...) Weathervane =
Playhouse will hold AUDITIONS BY APPOINTMENT for JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING =
TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, directed by =
Sarah Bailey with Margaret Knepper as musical director, Sunday, =
September 17 starting at 5 p.m. and Tuesday September 19 starting at 4 =
p.m. Callbacks, if necessary, will be held on Thursday, September 21. =
The 19 performances run November 24 thru December 17, 2006. Auditions =
will be held at Weathervane Playhouse, 1301 Weathervane Lane, Akron, In =
the Valley off Merriman Road.

Cast requirements:

12 BOYS ages 13 - 18

12 GIRLS ages 13 - 18

8 to 10 BOYS/GIRLS ages 10 -13

2 MEN ages 30 and up

Please prepare 16 bars of music from a Broadway show (no longer than 1 =
minute). Please bring sheet music in the correct key. An accompanist =
will be provided.

Weathervane Playhouse is committed to non-traditional casting. Except in =
cases where race, gender, age or disability is essential to the play, =
all roles will be cast on the basis of talent. Weathervane Playhouse is =
a community theater. All performers in all productions are volunteers. =
