RABBIT HOLE Opens Play House's 91st Season
Michael Bloom directs Play House production of Broadway hit of the season

CLEVELAND (September 7, 2006): The Cleveland Play House's 91st season opens
with David Lindsay-Abaire's Tony- nominated drama, Rabbit Hole,
September 15-October 8, 2006 in the Drury Theatre.

Directed by Michael Bloom, Artistic Director of The Cleveland Play House,
Rabbit Hole, the most acclaimed drama of last year's Broadway season,
focuses on a couple's attempt to survive and move beyond a deep family loss.

"Rabbit Hole is an intense and emotional play with surprising humor," says
Bloom. "We were extremely fortunate to have obtained the rights to
Rabbit Hole very shortly after the play closed on Broadway."

About RABBIT HOLE
Becca Corbett is a devoted wife and mother living in the affluent suburbs of
New York City. Becca's husband Howie is a hard-working family man.
Several months before the start of the play, Becca and Howie lose their
four-year-old son Danny.

Becca and Howie handle their grief in different ways: Howie through support
groups and attempts to move on, Becca through packing up Danny's things
and sending the dog to live with her mother. Becca's sister Izzy, the
wild-child younger sibling, announces her pregnancy, further shaking up
the grieving process. And the teenager driving the car that killed
Danny attempts to make a connection with Howie and Becca. Rabbit Hole
examines the effect of loss on an otherwise solid marriage, and presents
the paths to rebuilding a life.
