AUDITIONS FOR SLIPPER AND THE ROSE  & ROCKY HORROR SHOW 

SLIPPER AND THE ROSE
Auditions for the National Premiere of the musical The Slipper and the Rose 
(The Story of Cinderella) will be held on Sunday, September 17th from 7 to 
9pm at the Cassidy Theatre, 6200 Pearl Road, Parma Heights. Those who 
attended The Slipper And The Rose auditions at Tri-C West, do not need to 
attend on Sunday.

PRODUCTION DATES:  November 24 - December 17
ALL ROLES ARE OPEN
NEEDED:  Men and women ages 16 to 60 who are able to sing, dance and act.
               Excellent character roles for both men and women:
Cinderella (20s) beautiful and feisty
Prince Edward (20-30s) handsome, headstrong, quick witted
Fairy Godmother (30s - 60s) a cross between Glinda and Erma Bombeck
Stepmother (40s -50s) shrill, grasping
Stepsisters Isobella & Palatine (20s) Stepmother junior versions
John (20-30s) prince's valet & friend, level headed, good natured
Lord Chamberlain (50s and up) understanding, gentleman
King (50s and up) befuddled, well-meaning
Queen (40s and up) matches her husband
Dowager Queen (60s and up) loaded with one-liners
Duke of Montague (20s and up) Prince's cousin, obnoxious
Major Domo (any age) all bravado
Bride's Father (40s and up) visiting King
Ensemble of Ministers, Courtiers, Princesses, Guards, Servants, Villagers

Based on the 1976 Oscar-nominated movie starring Richard Chamberlain, The 
Slipper and the Rose, features a score by Richard and Robert Sherman who 
wrote the score for Disney's Mary Poppins and The Jungle Book.  The Slipper 
and the Rose follows the traditional story line: Cinderella rides in a 
magical pumpkin to the ball, enchants the prince, flees at midnight leaving 
her slipper behind, he finds her and that's when the story takes an 
unexpected twist.   The king prefers to choose the prince's wife, one of  
proper social standing who can help cement a strong political alliance!  (Of 
course, love wins out in the end!)


ROCKY HORROR SHOW AUDITIONS
PRODUCTION DATES:  October 27 to 31, 2006
AUDITION DATES:  Saturday, September 16th     2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
                                 Sunday, September 17th       6:00 p.m. to 
9:00 p.m.
CREATIVE TEAM: Meghan Mohler, Kevin Shahan, Christopher Wallace 
MUSICAL DIRECTOR: Heidi Herczeg
CHOREOGRAPHER: Jennifer Glowe
COSTUME DESIGN: David Glowe
Needed:  ALL ROLES ARE OPEN
               Ages 18 and over please
               Must sing a rock song.  Bring music in your key
               Prepare a 30 second to one minute monologue
               Bring a photo if possible
