In preparation for the appearance of Batsheva Dance Company, a
lecture-demonstration offers tips on how to look at and appreciate modern
dance. The session will be led by choreographer Linda Kahn who teaches dance
history, technique, improvisation and choreography at CCC Metro. The lecture
is presented in association with the Cleveland JCC=E2=80=99s Adult Services
Department as part of its "Nosh for Knowledge" series. The acclaimed
Batsheva modern dance troupe--direct from Israel--will be presented at the
Palace Theatre in Playhouse Square Center on Thursday, October 12, at 7:30
pm, co-sponsored by The Jewish Community Center of Cleveland, Cuyahoga
Community College, and DANCECleveland.  For tickets to Batsheva, call
