LITTLE WOMEN OPENS - FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 22ND!

CVLT's Little Women runs Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:00 PM, September
22nd through October 7th.  This new adaptation is presented by The Shields
Players (our young adult troupe of college and high school actors), through
support from The Emily Waters Foundation.  The classic Louisa May Alcott
story of the March family is, in this version, moved to the 1960s, with
father away at the Vietnam war.  It's hip, it's 'mod', and it's very
entertaining!

Tickets are $14 for adults and $10 for seniors over 60 and youths under 18.

AUDITIONS FOR NUNCRACKERS - SEPTEMBER 24th & 25th AT 7PM!

Needed: Strong Character Actor/Singers

4 Women age 20s to 60s: All with Strong belt:
1 able to sing Lyric Soprano
1 Man age range 30s to 60s: Singer/Actor
4 - 6 Children/Young Adults age range 10 to 16: strong singers and
performers

Those auditioning should prepare 16 bars of up-tempo song, and 16 bars of a
ballad. Dress appropriately for a brief movement audition. You will also be
asked to read from the script.

Show dates are November 24 - December 17 at 8 PM, Fri/Sat with selected
Sundays at 2 PM

ENGRAVED BRICK PAVERS - PHASE 1 DEADLINE OCT. 9TH!

Construction of Chagrin Valley Little Theatre's long-delayed brick paver
project, cornerstone of the theatre's endowment fund, is due to get
underway on October 9.  Orders will be accepted for Phase I of the project
until that date, at which point approximately 250 engraved, equivalent 4 X
8 brick pavers will be installed.  Bricks ordered after the 9th will be
part of subsequent phases, once an economical quantity of orders is
received.

The paver project, which will feature 4x8, 8x8, and 12x12 inch bricks at
$75, $150 and $300 respectively, was originally announced as part of CVLT's
75th anniversary celebration in November of 2005. However, the project ran
into a number of delays due to basement water and drainage problems that
had to be addressed.  Solutions to the problems included tree and stump
removal next to the Theatre's back wall, shoring up that wall and
installing necessary drainage, tuck-pointing of dressing rooms and the back
wall, various roof and gutter repairs, and anticipated other improvements
scheduled by the Village of Chagrin Falls.

Sheffield Monuments in Chagrin Falls is engraving the bricks with message
of the purchaser's choice.  Special order bricks may be ordered by
businesses and others based on individual quotations.  Order forms and info
