  PRIZEWINNING SONGWRITER SUSAN WEBER AT CLUB KHAMELEON OCT 5

  Prizewinning rock songwriter Susan Weber and her band, Monet's Orbit, will highlight the bill at Kent's Club Khameleon on Thursday October 5  The show begins at 9 p.m. and will also feature Los Angeles performer Cosmic Starfish and Kent singer-songwriter David Ullman.

  Susan Weber & Monet's Orbit, a lean rock trio from Cleveland, features Susan Weber on rythm and lead electric guitars, and band members Walt Campbell (bass) and Trees (drums and percussion). 

  With lyric-rich beat driven originals, the group has been compared to Patti Smith and the Jefferson Airplane. "Sensuality with a backbeat" is how Weber describes herself. 

  She was named 2006 Best Female Singer-Songwriter by The Free Times, a Cleveland entertainment weekly, and also received The Great American Song Contest’s coveted Honor Award. 

  Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum guitar consultant Gary Rice called a recent live performance 'excellence that is truly possible, but seldom seen... that sonic and personal epiphany when things come together so well, the very earth seems to stop and take note.'
