Lori Diemer Connects with RED DOT and COSE
Willoughby Photographer Lori Diemer, of DW Photography, is one of 18 RED DOT Project Artist Members to have work selected for an upcoming COSE Event. Her image titled “Cleveland Montage” will be presented to 2 Keynote Speakers at the 2006 COSE Small Business Conference, Oct. 12-13 at the IX Center in Cleveland. Steven S. Little, Senior Consultant of INC. Magazine, and Mike Rayburn, “The World’s Funniest Guitar Virtuoso” will be the lucky recipients. Another image “Driftwood Blues” was also selected for this event. The RED DOT Project is a complete regional art resource service driven to provide real economic and sales opportunities for artists and arts entrepreneurs by directly linking artists, arts businesses, and service providers to potential markets. . Lori Diemer’s “Cruisin’ Art” Drives into ARTEFINO ART GALLERY & CAFE
ARTEFINO Art Gallery & Café will exhibit a number of Lori Diemer’s “Cruisin’ Art” canvas prints this coming December. “Cruisin’ Art”, is a series of images Lori has captured at local car shows
for the past 3 years. Car buffs will recognize
the details and icons of their favorite classics.
Using a technique known as Polaroid Manipulation, Lori has created fun, colorful, and very unique “portraits” of the classic cars she has met. Polaroid Manipulation goes beyond typical photography with the final images often appearing like paintings. The contemporary look, and feel of the images make them ideal for use in commercial and residential spaces. Framed and matted prints, as well as large canvas prints, will be featured.
Lori Diemer, of DW Photography, is a native of Northeast Ohio and lives
in Willoughby. Her work has been awarded and exhibited at numerous venues around Northeast Ohio. She is an Artist Member of The RED Dot Project and Exhibit Cleveland, two organizations dedicated to the promotion of local artists to the downtown business community. She is also a member of the Western Reserve Photographic Society, the North American Nature Photography Association, and the Photographic Society of America.

Lori Diemer has work selected for
National Nature Photography Journal.
“Johnson Lake”, a photograph by local photographer Lori Diemer, has been selected to appear in “Expressions”, the 2007 NANPA Print Journal. NANPA is the North American Nature Photography Association and promotes the art and science of nature photography to its large international membership. “Johnson Lake” is one of the top 250 images to be selected. It was taken in the Canadian Rockies during one of Lori’s recent visits to the area.
“Expressions” will be printed and distributed to the entire NANPA membership before the NANPA Annual Summit which is going to be held in Palm Springs CA, January 17-21, 2007. Lori has been a member of NANPA since 2002. In 2004 two of her images were selected for the NANPA Member Showcase and appeared on the NANPA website for one year, along with 98 other winning images submitted by members.
