Vue Restaurant to host Wine Tasting to
Benefit Actors' Summit,
Hudson's Professional Theater
Vue, Food and Wine Magazine's "Best New Wine List" Restaurant will host an
"Ohio Artists" wine tasting on Friday Oct 20th, 2006 to benefit Actors'
Summit, Hudson's nonprofit Equity professional theater. The event, hosted by Vue
Chef Robert Ledzianowski and Michael Tomaselli, Vue Sommelier, will feature
Ohio wines, Ohio foods and Ohio artists.
The wine tasting will feature the artistry of Claudio Salvador of Firelands
Winery; including Firelands' award winning 2005 Pinot Grigio. Light faire,
appetizers, and live music will round out the evening. The wine tasting will
begin at 7 PM and run until 10 PM.
"This is a perfect relationship," remarked Jim Hackney, Vice President of
the board at Actors' Summit. "We are thrilled with the opportunity to work
with Vue. When they approached us, we jumped at the chance to make this event
happen to benefit Hudson's professional theater."
Neil Thackaberry, Artistic Director said: "It's such a pleasure to have the
support of Cleveland Magazine's 'Best New Restaurant' for our theater. "So
many of our patrons have truly enjoyed their pre and post show dining at Vue.
We are excited for the opportunity to partner with another group of Ohio
artists."
Actors' Summit is a nonprofit, 501,c,3 professional Equity theater; located
in downtown Hudson. It produces 10 shows each year, and features exclusively
Ohio actors and artists.
The cost is $75 per person, a portion of which is tax deductible. For
