who performed in the Broadway show RENT on Broadway/two national tours has been back in Cleveland the past few years teaching guitar/piano lessons to beginners of all ages while pursuing his career in songwriting.

Currently Matthew teaches close to 30 students a week and is always looking for more!!

Matthew teaches lessons out of your home and lesson prices are dependent upon how far away the lessons are. Half hour/hour lessons are available. Matthew currently teaches in Beachwood/Solon/Moreland hills/Lyndhurst/South Euclid/Cleveland Hts/Concord/Mentor/Kirtland Hills.

Matthew teaches a non-classical style that begins with the basics and then focuses on the music the STUDENT wants to learn. Matthew is available every week/every other week or just for one time lessons preparing students for an audition/school concert.

Along with teaching, Matthew two years ago began to develop and consult young artists in the field of music. Matthew has worked with and is still working with 16 yr.old Jami Ross, who was voted Scene Magazine best new artist of the year. Jami is currently in Los Angeles where her project is being shopped to major record companies. Check out www.Jamirossmusic.com to hear songs Matthew has written with Jami.
