TrueNorth Gallery Open House, Friday October 6, 7:00 – 9:30 p.m.

TrueNorth Cultural Arts will be hosting an Open House Friday, October 6, 7:00 – 9:30 p.m.  The Main Gallery will be featuring TrueNorth Resident Artists and invited guests in a new show entitled, Literally and Figuratively (Realism to Abstraction). The New Hall Gallery continues to feature TrueNorth’s Visual Arts Staff JoAnn DePolo, Deb Gantz, Sue Kauffman, Susan Schauer, and Denise Ivey Telep.  TrueNorth is located at 33491 Lake Road, just west of Moore Road, in the Old Saddle Inn.  

Meet TrueNorth Instructors who will be on hand to answer questions promote their teaching from an impressive array of course offerings.  Classes for all ages and experiences, in drama, dance, Tai Chi, an incredible list of musical instruments, and visual arts media including ceramics, drawing, all types of painting materials, glass jewelry and fabrics.  Many classes are open to home-schoolers, seniors throughout the day, and special needs participants.

TrueNorth is committed to promoting the arts.   TrueNorth created a “Come and Create” Mural this summer where over 200 people participated in creating a beautiful 4 x 16 mural of Avon Lake.  Come and find the spot you painted when it was created at TrueNorth’s Art Fest’ on July 2nd or when it was completed on Market Day at the Folgers House.  Bring friends and show off your mural art.
