Fall for the Arts

An Afternoon of Arts-Based Professional Development for Educators

Idea Center at Playhouse Square

Registration Fee: $15 (includes refreshments and materials)

We've condensed our series of professional development workshops into
one convenient afternoon of make-and-take creative activities to use in
the classroom. Fall for the Arts will kick off with light refreshments,
followed by a series of 30-minute hands-on workshops. You will be able
to choose the sessions you attend and in each, you will complete an
activity and leave with a standards-based lesson plan. All sessions will
integrate an art form with another academic content area. Teaching
artists and presenting organizations include: Robin Pease (drama),
Anitra Redlefsen (visual arts), Tom Evert (movement), Smart Consortium
(math and science), Progressive Arts Alliance (hip hop), and more.

Classroom teachers, arts specialists, administrators and teaching
artists are all invited and encouraged to join us.

Enrollment is limited to 200 participants, so register now! Visit
