"3 Redneck Tenors - A New Musical Adventure"
Written by opera-veteran Matthew Lord
Music arranged by award-winning composer Craig Bohmler

Opera may never be the same, y'all! In the melodic wake of the Three =
Operatic Tenors (or the Ten Tenors who are performing at Stocker in =
December!), comes a new breed of tenors from more humble origins... "3 =
Redneck Tenors - A New Musical Adventure." This musical comedy is like =
"Greater Tuna" meets "Das Barbecu" - a family-friendly show featuring =
incredible music and singing by big time opera and Broadway stars. Join =
Billy Bob, Billy Joe and Billy Billee as they mix NASCAR with "La =
Boheme," lite beer with "Carmen" and even kick up a little dust with =
"Madame Butterfly." It is the hilarious story of 3 singing cousins =
discovered in their trailer by a shrewd city-slicker Agent. You'll =
follow them all the way from their modest beginnings in Paris, Texas to =
their triumphant debut at New York's famous Carnegie Hall. It's down =
home laughs and big city music - it's "3 Redneck Tenors." =

And in between the live events, don't miss the movie!
"CACH=C9" - Friday, October 20, 2006 - 7:30pm
2005 (R) 113 min. France/subtitles
Director: Michael Haneke
Cast: Daniel Auteuil, Juliette Binoche, Maurice B=E9nichou, Annie =
Girardot

Writer/director Michael Haneke delivers a masterpiece of unsettlement =
with "CACH=C9." Life seems perfect for Georges and Anne, a bourgeois =
Parisian couple who live in a comfortable home with their adolescent =
son, Pierrot. But when an anonymous videotape turns up on their =
doorstep, showing their house under surveillance from across the street, =
their calm life begins to spiral out of control. Subsequent videotapes =
arrive, accompanied by mysterious drawings, and gradually Georges =
becomes convinced that he's being tormented by a figure from his past. =
But when he confronts him, the man assures Georges he is innocent. A =
growing sense of guilt begins to rise in Georges as he recalls his =
less-than-angelic childhood, yet for some reason he's unable to be =
completely honest with Anne. Soon, their happy home is an emotional =
battleground, leading to a climax that is breathtaking in its ferocity =
and ambiguity. Though Haneke's film works first and foremost as an =
insidious thriller, it is also a powerful commentary on the urban =
paranoia and racism that continue to permeate modern society. Without =
using a score, and keeping his camera detached and static, Haneke =
nonetheless establishes a nearly unbearable level of tension. "CACH=C9" =
remains a work of menacing brilliance, and was the winner of the Best =
Director Award at the 2005 Cannes Film Festival.
"... a brilliantly sinister mystery fraught with guilt, deceit and =
denial." - Jan Stuart, NEWSDAY

delivers a masterpiece of unsettlement with =93CACH=C9.=94  Life =
seems perfect=20
for Georges and Anne, a bourgeois Parisian couple who live in a =
comfortable home=20
with their adolescent son, Pierrot.  But when an anonymous =
videotape turns=20
up on their doorstep, showing their house under surveillance from across =
the=20
street, their calm life begins to spiral out of control. Subsequent =
videotapes=20
arrive, accompanied by mysterious drawings, and gradually Georges =
becomes=20
convinced that he's being tormented by a figure from his past.  But =
when he=20
confronts him, the man assures Georges he is innocent.  A growing =
sense of=20
guilt begins to rise in Georges as he recalls his less-than-angelic =
childhood,=20
yet for some reason he's unable to be completely honest with Anne. Soon, =
their=20
happy home is an emotional battleground, leading to a climax that is=20
breathtaking in its ferocity and ambiguity.  Though Haneke's film =
works=20
first and foremost as an insidious thriller, it is also a powerful =
commentary on=20
the urban paranoia and racism that continue to permeate modern =
society. =20
Without using a score, and keeping his camera detached and static, =
Haneke=20
nonetheless establishes a nearly unbearable level of tension. =
=93CACH=C9=94 remains a=20
