The last time you could see musical theatre in Downtown Massillon, =
Ronald Reagan was in the first year of his first term, we were watching =
Hill Street Blues, Taxi, and Captain Kangaroo on TV, and we were mailing =
letters for fifteen cents! But now FOOTLOOSE, THE MUSICAL will be =
presented November 17 & 18 at the historic Lion's Lincoln Theatre.=20

FOOTLOOSE is based on the 1980's screen sensation starring Kevin Bacon =
which took the world by storm with its youthful spirit, dazzling dance, =
and electrifying music. It tells the story of city boy Ren who has to =
move to a rural town where dancing is banned. The town is turned upside =
down as Ren breaks loose and soon has the town on its feet.

Featuring a dynamic cast of local talent, this fast-paced show is not =
only packed with amazing dance but serves up some classic 80's hits, =
including  Holding Out For A Hero, Almost Paradise, Let's Hear It For =
The Boy,  and the unforgettable title track Footloose.

The show is presented by RiverTree players of RiverTree Christian Church =
in Massillon, meeting at Washington-Massillon High School for just over =
a year.
