Cleveland Public Theatre announces open auditions for Sleep Deprivation
Chamber by Adrienne Kennedy and Adam Kennedy, directed by Caroline Jackson
Smith. 

While nationally acclaimed African American playwright Adrienne Kennedy was
in rehearsal at Cleveland's Ohio Theatre, her son was beaten by police and
charged with assaulting an officer. Sleep Deprivation Chamber follows her
sleepless nights and her son's fight for justice, exploring issues of
violence and racial profiling. 

October 28th and October 29th, 2:00pm - 4:00pm at Cleveland Public Theatre

All roles available; Equity agreements will be considered

Needed are 10-12 actors, 18 and older, all ages, races 

Two lead roles are:

Suzanne - African American Female, 45-60

Teddy - African American Male, 19-30

Please prepare a contemporary monologue; actors may be asked to read sides
from the play.
