yed wife Rose with another woman. The humor that the wonderfully understate=
d Bey extracts from the lines is one of this production's strongest suits. =
=0A =0AFarr brings a sturdiness and occasional twinkle to Rose. At Saturday=
night's performance, when she learned that Troy had fathered a child with =
his mistress, she threw her voice like a trombone, greased with rage.=0A =
=0ADirector Spivey has for the most part taken a direct, naturalistic appro=
ach to the play. (I'm curious to see what he will do with Wilson's King Hed=

s performance is worth the price of admission. Farr is stunning as a woman =
who tucks her dreams away to give her husband a chance to live his dreams. =
When the husband is unfaithful, Farr makes Rose strong, tough and lovable. =
This is an actress to watch. =0A =0ARaynell (Jasmine Moore) is a second-gra=
der, but this actress keeps up with the big boys. Near the end of the play,=
she and Henderson have a scene that will probably go down in Weathervane h=
istory. I=A2ve not seen a young performer pull tears from that many audienc=
e members. Moore keeps up with Henderson, and the two of them give the audi=
