Art Exhibit Grand Closing

Akron, OH/October 24, 2006/The Grizzled Wizard Gallery announces the
Grand Closing of its first show, "P.R. Miller: The Art of Recycling," on
November 3, 4 and 5 from noon to 10 p.m.  This first successful show has
drawn over four hundred guests during its six week duration and features
eighty-five works by the local, well-known recycle artist.

The following week, the Gallery will stage "The Last Second," its end of
the year show featuring Paul Werner, Piedmont, OH ; Pat Buckohr, Canton,
OH; Nicole  Miller, Portage Lakes, OH; and John Kinzel, Akron, OH.  This
opening will be in conjunction with the Gallery Art Walk sponsored by
the Akron Art Museum. =20

The Grizzled Wizard Gallery is located at 121 East Market Street in
Akron's historic arts district.  Artists seeking to be considered for
future shows should call 330-252-9949.

P.R. Miller's art is made primarily from recycled and found objects.
Miller's work has been featured in Akron Life & Leisure Magazine, Crain
Communications' Waste News, the Akron Beacon Journal, the Canton
Repository, the Massillon Independent, Weird Ohio and Cleveland's
Ingenuity Festival.  Most recently, Miller received a first place Take
Pride in Akron award from Keep Akron Beautiful.  These awards recognize
citizens who take pride in their city by preventing litter, recycling
more, promoting responsible solid waste management and beautifying their
environment.

In April 2006, The Grizzled Wizard of Waste Not, Want Not, a one-hour
motion portrait of Miller, his work and philosophies was released by
Akron film-maker Josh Gippin.  Miller opened an outdoor gallery at the
corner of North and Howard Streets in Akron in July. For more
