Originally conceived as a play for younger audiences, This Is Where We
Came In is a hilarious look at the nature of fairy tales and the art of
story telling. The play centers on Fred, a simple man waiting to hear a
story. Soon he finds himself becoming a part of the fairy tales
themselves, and involved in the conflict between the "story-players" and
the "story-tellers". At stake in this battle is the need for the
players to tell their own stories, letting their voices be fully heard.
Arthur Grothe and his production team incorporate cutting-edge
multi-media in order to create a fast-paced, comic romp.
