Cuyahoga Community College Western Campus Theater Dept. and Magical
Theater Co. Present The Hobbit

Parma, OH - Continuing a partnership that has allowed nearly  7,000 high
school students to access free theater during the holiday season, Tri-C
West and Magical Theatre Company present The Hobbit on December 4th and
5th at 9:30 and 11:30 am both days.  This production is a stage
adaptation of JRR Tolkien's book.  Students and teachers are asked to
bring a non-perishable food item.

The Hobbit is  a  tale of high adventure involving Bilbo Baggins,
Gandalf, Gollum, Smaug the Terrible, and a world of other fascinating
creatures. This perilous quest is told wondrously with actors, masks,
puppets and music, and plays well to both younger and older students.

Magical Theatre Company is one of the finest theaters for young
audiences in the nation.
Thirty years of experience in providing programming of the highest
caliber for family audiences and schools has garnered them a reputation
as a leader in the field of theater for young audiences. Innovative
directors and designers as well as actors whose talents have been
showcased on and off-Broadway, in feature films, and regional theatre
combine to make Magical Theater productions vibrant and engaging.=20

The Tri-C West Theater Department produces 4 main stage productions a
year. This year's season includes This is Where We Came In,  The Burial
at Thebes (A version of Antigone), and Peter Pan.   Students learn from
a faculty that is comprised of some the areas finest working
professional performers, directors, technicians, administrators, and
scholars. =20
