  Inherit the Wind is not history.  The Scopes “Monkey” trial of 1925 is clearly the source of the play, but it has a life and characters of its own.  Inherit the Wind is not about evolution versus the Bible.  It is about freedom of speech, and the sanctity of the individual human mind.  The play confronts and challenges anyone who would censor a person’s right to conduct research, to think and to teach.  Closed-mindedness is on trial.  The terrifying idea that only one group’s religious beliefs should be the law on the land is on trial.

  This is the last weekend for performances:  November 10, 11 - Friday and Saturday evenings at 8pm.  The theater is located inside the Medina County Administration Building at 144 N. Broadway St., Medina, OH .

  Adults - $12; Seniors (60 +) and Students (thru G12) - $10.  
  A special group rate for 20 or more persons - $8 per person.
  Advance tickets must be paid in full in advance; tickets are also available at the door 1 hour prior to the performance.
