Cleveland Public Theatre is seeking a Production Manager/Technical
Director.=20

CPT 's mission is produce ground breaking performances and life-changing
educational programs in order to raise consciousness and nurture
compassion. CPT is seeking a PM/TD that is interested in being a part of
a team that is working collaboratively to grow the organization and have
an impact on the community. CPT's season typically includes the
production of 8-10 plays and three performance series in two flexible
theatres: the 100-150 seat James Levin Theatre and the 100-250 seat
Gordon Square. The season runs from September through June.

Summary of Position:  PM/TD position is a year round, salaried staff
position. Salary range is 28,000-32,000 based on experience and
capacity.=20

The PM/TD is responsible for the scenic, lighting and sound needs for
CPT productions and presented artists and typically designs sets and/or
lights for two to three shows per season.=20

The PM/TD has the following basic responsibilities:

*	Works with designers to execute set designs, lighting plots and
sound installations for produced works.=20
*	Coordinates technical matters for all presented works and rental
events.=20
*	Recruits, trains, and supervises production and run
crews-oftentimes these crews are made up of people with limited
experience.
*	Executes administrative responsibilities: production budgets,
supply and equipment inventory and crew time sheets.=20
*	Undertakes 2-3 design assignments for the season.
*	Works with Executive Artistic Director to strategically develop
the production department.=20

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a history of
success in technical theatre. S/he will be organized, conscientious, and
detail oriented. S/he will have experience at successfully leading work
crews, as well as being self motivated and comfortable working alone.
The PM/TD must be able to set realistic goals, budgets, and timelines,
and perform according to them. Must have a valid driver's license, car,
and clean driving record.=20
