The play about Elwood P. Dowd and his best friend who happens to be a six foot tall invisible rabbit, was made famous by the 1950 film starring James Stewart.  All chaos ensues  when Elwood's sister Veta Louse Simmons is mistaken by the Doctors as the one who sees the rabbit.   Then the chase is on to find Elwood and for Veta to prove her sanity (not an easy task.)  The show is sprinkled with colorfully fun characters and a touching story through the journey when everything comes together in the end.
