WILL PRODUCE OLIVER AND NINE IN 2007
Auditions scheduled for February 22-25



The Cain Park 2007 theatrical season features two Tony-Award winning musica=
l
adaptations=8Bfrom a timeless classic novel by Charles Dickens and from a
classic movie by Federico Fellini.

Oliver will be directed by Fred Sternfeld (The Sound of Music 2001, Fiddler
on the Roof 2003) in the Evans Amphitheater on June 21-July 8, 2007.

Nine will be directed by Cain Park Theater Co-Artistic Director Victoria
Bussert in the Alma Theater on August 2-19. 2007.  Fabio Polanco and Tracee
Patterson have been cast in the roles of "Guido" and "Luisa."

Based on Charles Dickens=B9 Oliver Twist, Oliver tells the tale of a boy who
runs away from an orphanage and hooks up with a group of boys trained to be
pickpockets by an elderly mentor.  With music, lyrics and book by Lionel
Bart, Oliver features such familiar songs as =B3Food, Glorious Food,=B2 =B3Where
Is Love?=B2 =B3Consider Yourself (At Home),=B2 =B3Who Will Buy (This Wonderful
Morning)=B2 and =B3As Long As He Needs Me.=B2

Based on Fellini=B9s classic film 8 1/2, Nine is the story of a famous film
director and his attempts to come up with a plot for his next film as he is
pursued by hordes of beautiful women, all clamoring to be loved by him and
him alone. Winner of 5 Tony Awards including Best Musical (book by Arthur
Kopit, music and lyrics by Maury Yeston), critics have praised Nine as =B3a
true original=8Abrilliant, daring, innovative and divine.=B2

Auditions for Oliver and Nine will take place February 22-25, 2007 at Grace
Lutheran Church in Cleveland Heights, Ohio.  Audition appointments will be
accepted beginning on February 1, 2007.  Audition dates/times are:
Thursday, February 22, 5-10pm (Actors' Equity Association members only);
Friday, February 23, 6-11pm (open); Saturday, February 24, 12-2pm (children
only), 2-6pm (open); Sunday, February 25, 1-6pm (Oliver callbacks),
6:30-10pm (Nine callbacks).  Complete audition requirements will be mailed
