Tri-C West announces auditions for:

Burial At Thebes: A Version of Sophocles' Antigone by Seamus Heaney

Director - Fred Gloor
Asst. Director - Bob Ellis
Set Design - Todd Krispinsky
Lighting Design - Shawna Melnykowski
Sound Design - Ben Stewart
Costume Design - Craig Tucker
Mask Design - Tim Corrigan

What does it mean to be a patriot? Or a traitor?  In a world where
individual freedoms and societal needs clash daily, the definitions
change with public sentiment, sometimes even at the whim of those in
power.  This theme, and others, take  center stage in Irish Poet
Laureate Seamus Heaney's brawny translation of Sophocles' Antigone.
Commisioned by Ireland's Abbey Theatre for their centennial anniversary,
the tale of Antigone and her defiance of an authority she feels is
despotic resonates as clearly today as it did nearly 2500 years ago.

Auditions:  	December 4, 5, callbacks on the 6th at 7pm
Running:	February 23, 24,   March 1, 2, & 3 at 8pm
		February 25, March 4 at 3pm
