Fool's Gold Entertainment presents "Far Away  Christmas"    A  Short Film 
with Original  Music

Set in WWII, a couple is separated by an ocean at Christmas time. The  
soldier, overseas, plays piano in a swing band, while his wife, a "Rosie  Riveter", 
is back in the states. After an evening's performance, the band  returns to 
improvise a captivating Jazz Number that blends the heartfelt mood of  a lonely 
Christmas at home, with the smokey ambience of a tavern in Europe. 

Walt Wise performs the Male vocals and is the Male Lead in the film. In  
addition, he also plays the sax and piano, as well as, contributing greatly to

Maureen Baker is an outstanding actress with a wealth of stage and screen  
experience.  She plays the Female Lead and does a superb job! 

The original Theme song "Far Away Christmas", was not composed in a  
traditional key, and required an outstandingly versatile Female Vocalist.  Through an 
exhaustive screening process, Fool's Gold Entertaiment found the  one 
entertainer who could fulfill our vision. Lori Cahan-Simon creates a  haunting melody 
that is sure to become a "Christmas Classic.
