Due to popular demand, Weathervane Community Playhouse in Akron is =
pleased to announce an EXTRA performance of the Jason Robert Brown =
musical "The Last Five Years."

The extra, added show will be at 10 p.m. on Saturday, November 18. (The =
performance has a running time of approximately 75 minutes with no =
intermission.)

Tickets to the show are $15 each. Seating in Weathervane's John L. Dietz =
Theater - which can seat only 47 people in its intimate "black-box" =
setting - is general admission only. For tickets, call the Weathervane =

encouraged.

The show stars JOANNA MAY HUNKINS as Cathy and ANDREW ROTHMAN as Jamie. =
The show's musical director and pianist is JORDAN COOPER, and CORIE LINT =
plays the cello.=20

"The Last Five Years" is a two-person, time-shifting, one-act musical =
that tells the story of a relationship from two distinct points of view. =
Cathy is a young Irish-Catholic woman who is also an aspiring actress, =
"climbing uphill" in her struggle to break into the business. She meets =
and falls in love with Jamie, a "nice Jewish boy" and a talented writer. =
If men are truly from Mars and women are truly from Venus, "The Last =
Five Years" demonstrates through songs both hilarious and heart-breaking =
that relations between men and women will always be a mixture of =
happiness and strife.
