Lake Erie College Student to Exhibit "Time and Duration"

(Painesville, Ohio) - Lake Erie College senior Matt Hietanen will be
exhibiting his works of art in a show titled, "Time and Duration," Nov.
27-Dec. 17. in the B.K. Smith Gallery on the campus of Lake Erie
College.=20

The majority of his show will include paintings and drawings, in
addition to two sculptures. Hietanen's exhibit, "Time and Duration"
illustrates the pieces of art through the various phases of their
development. A native of Madison, Ohio, Hietanen is a bachelor of fine
arts candidate in visual art. Selected works of art constructed by other
fine arts majors will also be on view.=20

The exhibit will open with a Gallery Reception Nov. 27 from 6-9 p.m. in
the B.K. Smith Gallery, which is located on the east side of Lake Erie
College on Gillett Street near Phillips Osborne School. Gallery hours
are Monday through Friday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday noon-5
p.m. =20

Founded in 1856, Lake Erie College is a dynamic and progressive
institution of higher education. The College offers 26 undergraduate
majors, including new programs in sports management, forensic psychology
and therapeutic horsemanship, as well as master's degrees in business
administration and education. This coeducational college, grounded in
